I've had the previous version of the Jawhorse (it is yellow) for about 2 years. While I don't use it every day by any means, there are some projects that it is invaluable for. I have the miter saw stand option for mine (caught it on sale as well).

bought one! Lowe's has it for $159. Just saved $69 and I've been looking for a good deal. Craftsman has similar product for $100 but I wanted to get the real deal.

thanks, OP!

Great deal! I bought one of these for myself and another for my brother last year. Wish they were this cheap then.

I bought one of these at lowes this past weekend on a "special buy" at $129. That one will be going back as I pulled the trigger on a woot unit.

I bought one today. I don't have an immediate use for it but I can see where it can do things my B&D Workmate 225 cannot do as well. I like the clamping ability and its ability to hold items against a wall for example cabinets and panels. I plan on performing some remodeling tasks in the next year and this tool will come in handy. I often work alone and to have a work holding tool will be helpful.
Thanks Stanford1621 for posting this deal.

I've always thought that was all hat and no horse. Someone thought of the name and then set out to build something that would fill the bill. That heavy *** Walmart bench is s much better deal and I passed on that.

OK, so what are my credentials to say these things? Carpenter for 43 years. Build a pair of apprentice saw horses and you tell me.

"All hat and no horse" :lol_hitti

Always seemed to me to be a solution in search of a problem. I really can't see a use for it.

@troybal

That is the miter bench I got. I picked mine up from Lowes and I think I paid about $40. I have a dedicated miter saw stand I built in my garage but when I have to go outside or to a distant project, it works.

I agree, and I sort of feel the same way about the B&D workmate. People seem to love those though, and they've been on the market for like 50 years so there must be something I'm missing.

I've survived this long without a B&D WorkMate and I don't see that changing. I did, however, pickup the Keter table at WalMart the other day. We'll see how that works out.
