This may be the wrong forum, but anyway, got a nice old saw for 25 clams. I tried a search on this site and everything with words "Rockwell" or "model" or "368" came up. Internet for dummies is too complex for me! Weighs a lot. Good saw?

I'm not at home, so I can't recall the model, but I have a Rockwell 6 1/2" saw that I bought my late father back in the late 70's or early 80's. Rockwell acquired Porter-Cable and sold a bunch of P-C tools under the Rockwell brand, all built in USA, all quality pieces. Later, they either sold or spun off P-C as a separate brand. I still have and use the saw, as well as a 3/8" drill, a polisher, a router and a finishing sander. IMO, it's all good stuff. Already 30+ years old and will probably last me until I'm too feeble to pick up a power tool.
Any resemblance to today's Rockwell-branded imported stuff is purely coincidence.
