I think this is the factory selling these new .

Has anyone heard of these ?

I'm looking for a compressor for my 2 car garage , but did not want to go too small.

http://charlotte.craigslist.org/tls/1083408156.html

$426.93 total

I'm 30 minutes away .

Only has a 1 year warranty VS a lowes Kobalt with a 3 year warranty for $448 with 10% coupon I have .

I'm seaching Craigslist daily for deals also.

Thanks Guys

It is a $400 compressor. The Kobalt is a $400 compressor. The warranty is only as good as the person you buy it from.If you buy the right size to begin with a 1 year warranty will be all you need. If you buy to small(not enough cfm) a lifetime warranty will not be enough. What air tools are you going to be runnung?

Impact gun , die grinder ect

Just ran across a deal I'm going to check out on monday , a 30 gal campbell hausfeld 6.5 peak hp , belt driven oil compressor . Hardly used, I can buy for $ 250 . If I don't like it I can always sell and get my money back for that price .

Are you also on gmfullsize ?

The die grinder will wear the 30 gal pretty hard, and yes I am on gmfullsize. Check plate and see if it can be wired 208/230.

Yes it can be wired 120/240 .

how would it run differently on 220 vs. 110 ?

would 220 be better ?

A 15 amp 110v is roughly 1.9/2.0 hp where as a 15 amp 220v will be 3 hp. if the same pump is used on the 110v as the 220v, you will see more cfm out of the compressor. Iknow Devilbiss(porter cable, craftsman) did this years ago.

I'm using this in a two car garage , so the 30 gal oil compressor wired to 220 ,might be all I need . I'v gotten by with a 12 gal oiless compressor for a while.

You seem to know alot about compressors, is this your line of work ?

I guess $250 is a good buy on that CH 30 gal oiless.

The guy said he bought it, and it was bigger than he needed, got a smaller one . Said it's been used less than 2 hours .

He has the 220 plug also.

Thanks for your input

$250 is a real good buy on a newer unit. Just keep an eye on the oil, if it starts to look milky change it. Also use a good quality oil and it should last.

From what I have seen from them they are a decent entry level compressor. They are no better or no worse than what you can get at any of the box stores. The most common problem with air compressors is buying too small of a compressor, causing it to run longer and putting undo stress on the unit.

They are the standard entry level compressor. They are the OEM for a number of other companies. The internet says very little about them. A couple of years ago I got one for a house at guess it Harbor Freight. It has served well for heavy home use.
