Looking for any information or insight on this particular unit

It's a Roger BG 5H rotary screw compressor
circa 1994
230v 3ph 5hp 150psi @15cfm

Sounds like a nice compact package, but I'm not finding much info out there

Anyone have experience w this unit or anything Rogers?

Also what else should I be inspecting on a screw compressor, I won't be able to run the unit.

Lot of screw compressors I've been around have hour meters to keep up on maintenance. Nit seeing one on that little guy.

At this point the machine is 27yrs old

What type of seals and wear items do these machines have?

The price is right, but the conversion to 1ph power and all the unknowns w a screw compressor def have me rethinking it's allure.

Does it have a receiver? If your use case requires a tank, and you have to add one anyway, you might be back to a typical compressor footprint.

I know this is an old thread, but in the event someone may need the info: Yes that should be a 3 phase compressor. The controlling voltage is 110 (transformer inside) and only the motor is 3-phase. I have one of these compressors and converted it to run off a VFD. Rogers can get you the manual and schematics, but only sell the "tune up" stuff at this point. The rotor unit is made by Tamrotor (Enduro 3) and it uses the same rotor from 5-15hp models, with changes to cooling/rpm. I can see there is no hole for the hour meter gauge as it's located adjacent to the pressure gauge on mine. I have had no issues with the seals, but the hoses were brittle and they were pricy to get remade. I've seen models made by Gardner-Denver that are the same unit and many part numbers cross. The unit is made in Europe, so Metric fittings etc.
