I just got an old Walker Roll-A-Car 740 series G ratchet jack. I downloaded thje patent and original drawings. Vintage 1927. Works perfectly. i'm wondering what it might be worth. I'll be cleaning it up e.g. the barn dirt and sludge but will leave it as is rather than paint it. Thoughts? Pics to follow once it's clean.

Welcome, How much would you charge me to mow my lawn? Your profile doesn't list your location, so with out the info. needed it is too hard to answer your question. Things sell very much different on the west coast then on the east coast.

I bought one for $50. It's in great shape. There is one on eBay for $325 ask. Been on there forever with price drops. The owner claims to be the original family owner. I offered him $100 he rejected. Just keep it and use it. They are over engineered and very simple and very cool.

I have the same jack and I love it. It is designed to lift cars that axle points deep underneath like from the 30-40's. If I lived closer I would take it off your hands....
