Here is a work bench I have been creating for my friend that does vinyl graphics and signs. There are going to be two of these benches. The top size is 4' x 8' with a 32" fold down extension at the end of each bench top. He needed a long surface to do banners so this option seemed to make the most sense. He can also pull his table saw over to use one of the benches for an out-feed table. You can pull the string witch pulls the jacks out and dis-engages the wheels. Lift the end up the the jacks re-engage the wheels. It's been a fun project but is far from over since I still have to make the extension and mount the top which is 3/4" MDF. Oh, and make another one.

Nice work. I saw a similar project on the Old Yankee Workshop. The flip up wheels seem like a great idea. Let us know how your buddy likes it.

Yah, I saw that New Yankee Workshop episode also and based it off of Norms plan. The work bench is over at my friends shop now and seems to be working great!!! I'll get some photos of the completed 1st bench soon.
