Looks like this may be the place to come to for past experiences that may relate to my question. I would like to dress up a garage I keep 4 cars housed in and because of the time to install epoxy paint I've been looking at RaceDeck and Race Day floor tiles. My concern is that I have one car I store on steel wheel dollies and have to roll it out when I drive it and roll it back in afterwards to store. RaceDeck says casters are no problems but my Engineering 6th sense is telling me that may be a bit too optimistic. The car is relatively light - about 2700 lbs but it stays stored sitting on the dollies as it's pushed up against a wall.
Anyone have experience with cars on caster dollies with RaceDeck or even Race Day floor tiles? I suspect Race Day floor tiles do not present as hard a surface as Race Deck and would drag more when trying to roll the car. I'm in plenty good enough shape at 65 to muscle the car out for a drive on concrete, but I'm not getting younger and I don't want to create more work for myself.
Thanks in advance for any experiences you can tell me about.
