I’ve been spending a lot of time in plumbing mechanical rooms lately and have found myself needing sizes I never thought I would have in previous lives… Like 1” to 1-1/2” wrenches. I currently have them in a pile in a job box, and hate it. I ordered a Bull Tools “16 pocket wrench roll” on Amazon that says it fits 6-37 mm, but I can’t even get an 1-1/4” in a biggest slot. So it’s going back.

Can anyone suggest anything commercially available, or am I making my own? I can sew just fine, but can’t really see to spending the couple hours this will take…

the only wrench rolls that I've ever used that were worth a damn were specifically made for what they held, either as a manufacturer supplied kit, or made by/for the end user.

K-D Tools used to sell a large wrench roll....Canvas back with clear plastic type pockets....

If I'm not mistaken...?? Wright used to have an all canvas wrench roll??

There are a variety on flea bay, now....

I bought one of these for some large combo wrenches I keep in the RV. Doesn’t see day-in-day-out use but good for my purposes:

I like the look of that

I like the look of that - who travels with a 3” combo wrench?! - but by the time it lands here, it’ll be C$130. 😒 Oh, Canada… Sounds like I’ll be hitting the sewing machine!

I’m pretty sure I got their biggest one but I’m sure you see there are other sizes 😀

Don’t have a 3” combo but there are some big ones, including for tow hitches and whatnot. I just needed something for a little organization and to keep them from rattling around too much and it’s been fine for that.
