Need some new roll pin punches, my old Mayhew set is flat out shot! Bought them used, over 20 years ago, and they have been great.
Looking for a set from 1/16-1/2 inch, and like the looks of the Wilde, but never used them.

Any suggestions?

I have a set stamped "baltimore mayhew" and they have held up great. Got them at Home depot a long time ago. Not sure if they still sell the USA made punches.

I've never used Mayhew although my 40 year old Wilde items are still going strong.

These are bent, striking ends mushroomed and chipped. Previous owner, an old school blacksmith, safe-ended several by applying a circle of braze around the ends, so any warranty is likely void anyway.

Mayhew is lifetime

not knocking one or the other, but do you have stock in mayhew?
brand new, 5 or so posts, all within 30mins, all re: mayhew

sorry, don't mean to hijack

Either a serious Mayhew fan boy, or an employee.... my money's on the latter.

I've been happy with my USA Western Forge Craftsman's... don't use them a ton, but they have held up. Unless Sears stops carrying them for some reason, they are currently really easy to exchange if I ever had an issue. I love other Mayhew and Wilde products I have as well so you can't go wrong with any of them IMO.

I use the Craftsman ones, they do the job well. Western Forge made in Colorado if that matters.

I noticed it too. Some of the threads were very old too.
