I picked up a 14' x 12' roll up the other day and got it quite cheap. Very nice condition. It did come without the left/right mounting brackets that support the door and also without the chain drive. I did get the side tracks. Are the chain drives somewhat universal or does each manufacturer make them fit their door and make swapping another brand impossible. I do not know what brand of door it is and was wondering about how to ID the door and go get the proper chain drive. Other than that, I could use a universal chain drive if it will work. Can I get a little help from you guys that do this every day. Thanks

We really need pictures. Does it have a hood over the door roll. Is the hood round or hex shaped.

I don't know about a hood. It is as typical corrugated sheet curtain, after the painted sheetmetal runs out, there is a galvanized sheet that covers the drum frames and torsion springs. If you mean hood, as in a rectangle box covering the door when it is rolled up, there is not one.
