I have a 6'x7' Janus roll up door on the back of my garage for the lawn equipment. It has this type of latch on it currently:
I would like to be able to lock it from inside or outside with the ability to unlock it from inside or outside. Like a deadbolt on an entry door (concept, not necessarily execution). When maintaining the lawn, just unlock from the outside without having to enter the shop. When carrying something to the backyard from the shop, unlock from the inside without having to walk around to the back of the building.
I work steel for a living in the shipyard. I can trade a favor with a machinist if I need to machine something. What you all think? Functional is priority, but I am married so it must look good from the outside too.
