Purchased 2 used roll up door motors off of marketplace and was wondering if someone could provide some input on how to test these/control wiring.
I’ve tried connecting 1 and 3 together and nothing.
I’ve tried connecting 2 and 3 together and nothing.

if I press on on the motor contractor for open the motor turns on and it also turns on when pressing the motor contactor off.

both openers do the same so I’m assuming I’m missing something.

Not sure. Could you explain how or what I’m looking for at adjusting them? And if possible how they operate?

First you have much more than a motor you have an old commercial door operator.

To use it you need a control station with 3 buttons like this one.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003LZGC8U/?tag=atomicindus08-20

The stop button is very important to this system. When the stop button is pressed or if it wires are broken or disconnected the motor will not move. This the one and only safety function built into this machine. The stop button is a closed circuit unlike the up and down buttons. It would be tempting to replace the stop button with a jumper wire and use a another wire to act as the open and close buttons but understand this is a very different machine than a home garage door opener this machine likely has a real ½ horse motor gear very low it has more than enough power chop off body parts and brake bones. This unit will not reverse if an object blocks the door it will crush it or die trying it also lacks the photo detectors home units have today, so be very careful when testing it. Without a stop button once started only the limit switches will stop it.

You may want to consider if you really want to use this device that lacks the basic safety fictions we have become so accustom to and expect to be present today especially if any children may ever be around it.

PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL!!!!
