Hello all,
the longer i stay married i find myself living more time in my attached garage,
Anyway this has been bugging me for a while now, couldn't seem to drag up any info on search, what options are available to reduce the breeze coming in between the brickwork & top roller door, this door is to my backyard, my work/office bench is to the side,
obviously the gap changes heaps when goes up & down,
any info would be grateful,
all the best.

They make 2 styles. 1 is a flat retainer and the other is a 90* retainer. The brush slides in and you cut to length. The 90* style is easier to install before the door is installed. Usually 2 1/2" - 3" brush. Measure the gap when the door is closed. We install them all the time into brick.

That link has what you need, look in the phone book for a commercial garage door company for a local price.

This is true for many of us, except I purposely built mine detached and 150 feet behind my residence so I can always apply for a "New" address if necessary.

If you look up "Rolling door hood" you may get some ideas. The brush or seal would really be on the front side of the hood. You could try a local sheet metal company.

The problem with adoing a hood to that style.doors is alot of fabrication. Commercial coiling doors have a flange built onto the headplate to.support the hood on the sides. Some flat retainer with a 2.5 - 3" brush should do good. Extend the retainer past the ends of the openings to seal the corners better
