Roller frame double

Does a person tried this type of frame roller double that can accept two standard roll 9 1/2" (total19" side by side) to apply epoxy on floor ?
A method economic is using two 9 1/2" roll instead one 18" !
Is it a good idea ?
Is it a problem for center line ?
What is your comment about this ?

Bad idea. Yes will leave center-line. Epoxies and urethanes are not latex paint. You don't want to be playing with rollers once you are moving the material around.

That looks like a frame for a 18" roller cover. Take the t 2 9" rollers out and when you buy the large cover it has plastic inserts that fit into the end, that clip at each end of the frame.

If your your wanting to cover more ground....purchase a 18" roller frame and nap!

Purdy and Wooster both make good quality frames.

A quality roller sleeve for epoxy/urethane work will likely be marked non-shedding. It will also have a poly-core. Purdy, Wooster, etc... the name brands are usually poly-core.

Why do you need a better quality roller?

Because, these products typically have a pot-life. When you start reaching the end of it the materials can become more and more sticky. Putting increasing pressure on the construction of the sleeve. A cardboard core roller (cheaper roller) can become unglued, literally.

You don't want this to happen.
