Rolling Head/Ladyfoot Pry Bars

Any suggestions as to what brands to look at? Tekton caught my eye, but looking at some Amazon reviews, they don't appear to be of the same quality as the rest of their tool lineup. Mayhew seems to be well reviewed. Any others worth looking at? Wilde is also on my radar, but a little different design than what I've used in the past.

I have sunex and proto. The proto are more nicely finished, and the point is better. Honestly at the price point of the cheap stuff, unless you're a heavy user, you cant really go wrong.

I have an older USA made Craftsman. It works fine but the chrome started chipping the first time I used it. Never understood why a pry bar would be chrome plated, seems like a poor application

That said I would recommend anything that isn't chrome plated.

I have one craftsman and a larger proto. ever since I picked up a few indexable head prybars I rarely use the ladyfoot style.

OTC and Mayhew are nice. Everybody at work with the Sunex or other cheap sets seems to bend them. The nice thing is the good brands are still reasonably priced.

The Estwing Pro Claw are super nice. And if I'm remembering correctly, they're made in Japan(Slept since I was at Lowes a few days ago.). Pretty sure pretty much everywhere sells them, including I know I've seen them on Amazon & Home Depot.

I recently bought an Estwing flat prybar to remove the tile from my kitchen. And man, I am extremely impressed by it. I was beating the hell out of it against hard slate tile for hours on end over a couple of days, using a 3lb sledge hammer for much of it. Never bent a lick and the edge that I was using against the tile still has a great edge on it that is sharp enough to cut you. I'd not hesitate to buy another piece of steel from Estwing. And to boot, the pry bar has a bit of a radius to it which makes it more ergonomic while giving it more structural integrity.

Def stay away from like hobo freight and what not, those will bend like nothing.

I've got the Sunex set, no issues even when I was doing doing truck & loader work. I do like the Snap-on's as the foot shape works better when using that feature (used co workers before), but have not had a reason to upgrade them.

The larger models are Japan, smaller are Taiwan. They are nice bars but once again they are chrome plated, use it a while and you will have chrome peel. Also, these bars are trim prybars...not a lady foot type bar asked by op.
