Hi all

I'm looking for a rolling machine stand for a Delta DP 220 14" drill press that sits in front of a door to my hot water heater and boiler. I'd like get the type that sits properly on the ground but can be rolled away after you step on a lever to engage the wheels. There are lots of options on Amazon, before I take the plunge I thought I'd seek advice of the collective given the DP 220 is such a common machine.

Any advice or recommendations are welcome and appreciated.

Best wishes
Steve

I have these under several of my power tools, INCLUDING the floor drill press in the woodworking area

I did one using 1-1/2" wood, all the rest I used 1-1/2" square tube instead. The DP sits snug in the "pocket" created by the corners and square tube. Half the time I forget it's even CAPABLE of moving, just stays solid as a rock til you hit the foot pedal.

'Nuther thing I like; several other bases make you choose in 1" increments, seems like half the time that doesn't work. This style you make the size ANYTHING you want. I even have one under my PM66 cabinet saw, about 500 lbs and it's fine... Steve
