I was looking for something else for an old WEN sharpener and noticed this rolling toolbox / seat on the WEN website. It can't be too heavy duty since it's only $80 but if you use a rolling seat, this might be useful.

I do use a rolling seat that doesn't roll very well on my rough driveway. Not sure I'd use the toolbox portion but I think I would like some open storage area on the seat to have someplace other than the ground to set tools down on.

Are there other manufacturers of similar rolling seats? (edit: after searching for rolling seats, I found several others like this. I guess I've fallen into the "if you're not looking, it's not there" trap)

Kind of a neat concept, and could be handy depending on what you're doing. However, I don't think it makes a very practical tool box. I think I'd like the idea better if it two shallow sliding trays, and a "skeleton" frame work, allowing you easy access to the trays without having to slide them out. That way you could quickly get your tools out of your real toolbox, and put them on the trays for use wherever you are.

I used to use one of these and just bungee'd a toolbox to the bottom:

That was nice, because I could pull the toolbox off and set it aside, so I didn't have to get up to get to the tools.

I have one. It's as heavy y duty as you'll ever need.
I'm not a fan.
Reaching between my legs for a smattering of tools isn't comfortable or practical for me. Not height adjustable.
If you set it up as a brakes only or wheel removal, maybe.

I thought I'd love it, I even added magnetic strips to hold even more... No love.
A Rolling hf black box suits me better.

I had this style and liked it a lot. It's pretty well built. Looking at that Wen version, it looks like it has a pretty large footprint, that wouldn't work well for a lot of people I think. e30dba3034132963518dcb8aa98442aa.jpg
