I have 2 10x8 and 1 8x8 roll up doors going in the shop.

I cant find specifics on these doors for the openings other than opening width

should the top of concrete height be eaxactly 8' then 1/2" lower on the apron? Making the door actually lower 8' 1/2" or should the top of concrete be 7'11 1/2"?

Contractor showing up in the morning to start my driveway and putting base in the shop before the pour

the doors are longer than 8 ft so that measurement is not critical, but i can tell u this, get the door high enough so it lays flat at top of the opening. I got wind blowing over my door because it starts the turn over at top of opening. so your roll will be about 18 inch to 2 ft higher than the opening

Also, consider angling the concrete slightly at the door bottom to allow the rain to run away from the door. I had this done and no water inside my shop even on windy rainy days.

this is what I am wanting.

I want the floor 1/2" higher than the bottom of the door to keep wind driven rain out. I didnt know how far these doors would roll down past the specifications.
