Does anyone have any reviews on the Roloc type TP snap on discs? I’ve got a box of them that I got from a local auction. I’ve been having a hard time trying to find any reviews on them and how well they work. I was looking for the backing pads and found one review on amazon but it was that they received the worng style pad. If these are not great about staying put I will just junk them and go to the standard roloc or type R. Just hate the spen the mone on the backing pad and then fight them staying put.

I used type TP disc many years ago and they worked, but not as well as the type R. A lot of it depends on what you are going to be using them for and what grit. Yes that sounds crazy, but my experience was that the more course grits under a lot of stress like 80 grit and under had a tendency to break lose on occasion. The age of these disc will also play a roll in how well they stay attached to the metal screw drive. The adhesives seemed to break down over time. Keep in mind that this was 30 years ago.

I have a box of roloc stuff I've yet to use. What are the differences in the "type" that you guys are talking about?
Roloc has the screw tab on the disc and Speed-loc has the screw tab on the stem.
Anybody know if there is a place to get a good assortment of roloc style discs? I look at Leigh Vally and all theirs is 100 packs. I would like to find a good set that maybe had 5-10 of different grits to try out and see what works best.
