I have finished running 2x4's attached to the perlins from floor to ceiling and ready to start the electrical. Ultimately, the walls will be covered with OSB, so planning to run romex for all the electrical boxes, from 15 amp 110v up to 50 amp 220v receptacles. Have a perlin at 4 from from the floor, so going to lay all the wiring on top of the perline so it will be fully supported.
When I did some internet searches, there were many that were recommending the use of MC. But I believe it was primarily due to the wiring being exposed. I will most likely use MC on the ceiling since it will be exposed for the lighting.
Any reason that I shouldn't use romex like you would in a house? First time wiring something up and plan to have an electrician double check everything once I'm done. But would like to do it right the first time, so any help would be appreciated.
