Five years ago, I moved into this space, my first shed! With a craftsman 4 drawer rallybox filled with kolbalt tools, a makita circler saw, and a 75$ hitichi cordless, I had began what would be a costly but educational affiar.
When I bought a boat, it came with it's problem's, lession's, and most importantly, tools. Then there was my old rusty isuzu trooper, figured it needed more then just a starter. Found, more problem's, more lession's, bought even more tools. Finishing that epic, I found my self jonesing for more, like the garage version, of a solid basketball jonse. I fixed lawn mowers, electronics, anything my dad would drop off (which often suprised, and challenged). I would find projects In absolutily nothing, anything for an excuse to aquire more tools to add to my chest of, chrome treasure. After year's (3) of boat ownership, I could count on 2 hands the time it had seen water, kidd ya' not, my self and my finance'a work 6 day weeks, in our free time, she has a horse, I have a shed. Works nicely btw, equal expenditures! The mighty Bronston whaler had to go, bronston is a town in kentucky on lake cumberland, (best boat name ever) my moghany adorned tracker johnboat was ready to pass on. Broke my heart to sell it, but broke even, let me repeat broke even on a boat, plus a ragged trailer in partial trade on top, Let's not stop their, this Arab trader, got his, mohagany back, as the new owner was planning an astro turf and fishing seat look! Foregive the gloting, Had a few tonight. That trailer got everything! Timken's, bearing buddys, new deck, lights, safety chain's, bought tires for it! All so i could haul a few bails of hay for our horse.
The day I took my gas grill apart, figuring that it needed a rebuilding, I decided I should give heavyer woodworking a try, figured it might be lasting. Not to mention, buying machinery is very entertaining. The hook was set, couldn't be enjoying woodworking more! This was, right up untill I found this place, and all the damn machinists, will someone please, please talk me out of buying a metal lathe.
After 5 years this is the escape from the mundane that is my shed.
Thanks for taking a look
