Roof rafter ceiling reenforce

I am moving to a new house with an attached garage. I am wanting to hang stuff from the ceiling but not sure the load capacity. Would rather over kill then pull down the roof. So looking for ideas. Any help would be great.

You have pics of the garage or what size is the garage?

And size of the rafters?

Won't have any pics of garage until move in. The garage is about 24x24. The rafters are made of 2x4s.
