So an electrician will leave his company info on the inside door of the breaker box. A plumber will have a sticker on a hot water heater. If a company puts on a new roof where would I have a chance of finding who put it on? Got the house a couple years ago, and would like to use the same roofer to address a skylight problem.

You could check the permit that was pulled to do the roof.

If they pulled a permit. In my area, it's not required unless the sheathing or something structural is replaced.

Skylights always are a "LEAKING" problem--he probably did not want his co. name left for follow up!
