Roofing costs ridiculous?

So I just spoke with my good friend who owns a roofing company. For non insurance jobs going rate on average is 550 to 600 per square then add in if it’s a ground drop for tear off and a ground drop for material etc. if it’s insurance it will be even more lol.

Not really in my area. May save you a few hundred. But there is a lot of work so they don’t need the jobs. The good companies won’t negotiate at all.
