Roofing system?

In Tempe Az. Want to get 12’ interior ceiling height for a 2 post lift. What roofing system to employ.? City has a max 15’1” limit on height but can go more with a waiver. Have the name of a local truss manufacturer but haven’t contacted them yet flat roof or match the existing home? What do you think?

I would go meet with the truss company, mine was very helpful.
Tell them your situation. Have your notes with you so you don't forget anything.

A standard 4/12 pitch truss might make it under the height requirements depending on which way the trusses would run. As others have stated, you need to supply more information on what roof pitch and style the house has now. I have no idea on your budget, but custom trusses can increase truss pricing substantially. (I know from experience working with a truss company.)

Are the unusual dimensions to meet required easements or setbacks?
