Roofmax shingle rejuvenation - does it work?

Just saw a commercial on Roofmax shingle treatment. Does it really work? Is it worth it?

Looks like it has to be applied/hired out professionally.

Our insurance company doesn’t like a roof over 15 years old no matter how good of shape it is in. That could be an issue if you ever change companies.

The concept makes sense. It's been studied. It might help a 15yo roof, but if you've got cupping and chips and the singles look bald, no way will it help.
