"Room" inside the garage??

I live in Louisiana, please "I know"

I have an 1000 sq foot "Quanset hut shaped metal garage"

I have never been able to find any proper solution to insulate this thing due to it's shape so i am thinking of building as large a room as possible inside.

I have a a full machine shop brought from Phoenix, love that no humidity.

The humidity here stinks and really taken a toll on my tools.

Also plan on putting in a Bend Pak lift.

ANYBODY, give me some thoughts please.

We did some storage buildings for an apple orchard with the typical quonset huts. We insulated them with spray on foam. Worked very nicely.

The farmers out here (PNW ) spray on some type of gray fluff material insulation all over the inside of their metal bluidings to about 4-5" thick. It is not a foam and it is not covered up. Works great for them, no sweat and comfy in the winter....H
