room needed above a lift?

I am looking at a BendPak XPR-10A-LP (2 post, asymmetric clear floor) which is 145" tall. My finished ceiling is 146". Is that enough room to actually install the lift and make whatever connections are required on the top crossbeam? Or will I need to raise the ceiling in that area?

Man, you're cutting it close! I just had the exact 10A-LP put in and the installer said min height was 145 on the button. I would call Bendpak and tell them you have exactly 146", this way if it doesn't fit, they'll have no problem taking it back without a restocking fee.
