I have a Whitney #11 rotary punch. I am having no luck finding punches and dies for it. I have seen some that are similiar but not the right ones. Here is a rough sketch (excuse the art work, not my specialty). Measurements are close using a cheap caliper. Any ideas? Thanks

I don't know what number mine is, but I bought additional die sets for it on Zoro years ago, and they even had them in stock.

Got any pic’s of your rotary punch machine? I’m curious what they look like. I have a rotex rotary punch that I really like and have used a lot over the yrs. Wondering if it’s similar. BCD

I was looking for information about my Whitney punch and found this thread using the search feature. I guess it’s a rotary punch because you turn it and the die goes down to punch the hole. It looks like the capacity’s 1/2 inch. Is that 1/2 inch thick it will punch through or 1/2 inch hole? The reason I ask is I have a 5/8 inch die that was in the bag with the other ones.

It's a Roper Whitney #20. A 5/8" is probably outside it's limits for anything but aluminum or copper or brass.

Thanks for the link., I didn’t realize the company was still in business. I found the punch when I was cleaning out my dad’s garage.

I have not called them but I did email them last week but have not gotten a reply.
I’m not a fan of email for this. 90% of the time when it goes to Info@compnyX.com,I never get a reply. Some generic account that rarely gets read, the person who was assigned left, so many options. That’s why I call anymore.

10 & 12, not 12 & 20.

I saw that on Ropers site at lunch today, and they did not have the 1/2 dimension listed. Was gonna ask, then ask you if the 5/8 would not be a problem since yours was inch plus on top.

Their drawing

Glad you found it. They came up in my searches, but didn’t go back when they didn’t have the exact thing

Thanks RTM. Yes, 10 + 12. Not sure why i typed 20. In my terrible drawing the top is .630, that other is a reference line.
