Snerk. Frankly, thirty-four (34) posts, on one page, in five (5) years, kind of proves you right! :)

But also, guilty as charged! :ninja:

Private Lugnutz does not own any Rosco screwdrivers, does not have this thread on his Watch list, and other than including both Rosco daughters (@DaighterROSCO (sic.) and @OtherdaughterROSCO)(cracks me up..., cousin rivalry! :ROFLMAO:) in my GJ Descendents thread...

...I have admittedly not paid too much attention to it.

(I'm sure it's not the only Rodney Dangerfield out there. If you or anyone else thinks there are threads missing that deserve to be included, just tag me in the thread or PM me. In most cases it's 'Ask and Ye Shall Receive'. I never intended to be the gatekeeper for what is or what is not included. I did the brunt of the original legwork identifying most of the longest, most popular, and most active threads. I've been adding threads - based on obvious popular demand or request - all along. The intent, as the name 'A-Z Index of Threads' implies, was and still is to be the way to find threads that demonstrate some degree of lasting power regardless of where they are buried in the forum's imposed tyrannical order of descending chronological activity.)

But I'm easy. :)

If I see a Rosco screwdriver at a sale I generally pick it up if it’s in good condition. I found this stubby at a yard sale today and shined it up a little. It will live in my user toolbox

Passed on one of these just now. Kinda nasty, like everything in the box / bucket / bag that had been exposed to too much weather. Just wasn't feeling the cleanup for stuff I did not need.

I occasionally buy junker screw drivers to repurpose their handles as file holders

Here's a Rosco with it's Stanley twin

Who made the twins - ROSCO, Stanley or ?

How do you remove the shafts when you are repurposing the handles?

You got me on Q1........
I hope one of our experts will chime in and answer
I'm curious too...

To remove a screwdriver handle, I just slip the box end of a wrench down the s d shaft....
Clamp the blade in a vise and smack the wrench with a rawhide mallet or a deadblow hammer....don't want to mar up a nice wrench :)
Handles pop right off with a couple of smacks
