Is that “it needs to drill a 5cm diameter (2”) hole, deep into rock”, or “it needs to drill a 5cm deep hole into rock”? If the latter, what diameter? If the former, how deep?

I don’t have an answer either way, but it might help someone to answer.

There’s one of those attached to the Perseverance rover’s robotic arm. I’m not sure what shipping from Mars would be but based on your operation parameters it may be at the remote site you wanted already.
