Rotary SPO12 finally installed and functional.

I finally got my lift installed that was purchased almost 2 months ago. After much debate, price shopping, procrastination and using one everyday at work, I opted to spend the extra on a Rotary SPO12. Though 12000lbs is probably over kill, I decided I'd rather have a bigger lift that can still lift smaller stuff than a smaller lift that can't lift bigger stuff. The 3 stage arms and adjustable frame cradle pads/spacers are just the ticket for everything from Ford Fiestas to F550's and 5500 Kodiak trucks. Another thing I really like is how solid the SPO12 is vs. the spo10 with big, long, heavy trucks on it. Though a 8k lb. Crew cab dually is within the limits of the spo10, the lift flexes ALOT more and the vehicle feels much more precarious up in the air when doing anything that gets it rocking a bit.
Short of the lack-luster install from a local equipment company I'm quite happy with it. Looking forward to not crawling on the floor so much. My only regret at this point is waiting to long and having to eat the price increase that came after the first if the year.

$6500-7000 + install. Most places quoted me between $500-750 install.
Got small discount by ordering 2 through my work from Meyer tire supply since they needed one as well.

I sure can. Late night tonight, will try to measure tomorrow. Don't be afraid to poke me and remind me, busy, chaotic times right now.

Sorry for delay on pictures, crazy times on the home front. Haven't even been in the barn short of pulling a truck in and out on my way to or from some chaos. Anyways, right at 30" collapsed and 60" extended. All 4 arms are the same.

That's awesome. Great choice too. It's an absolute game charger to have at home, and you'll never want to go back. I left mine at my old shop for my parents, and have hated working on cars ever since. I'll get another one some day tho. Good looking shop too.

Finally gotten a little use out of this thing...one truck, a mower and a go-kart...pardon the kids, if they are awake and I'm in the shop that's where they have to be, wouldn't have it any other way. This thing is versatile I'll give it that. Those 3 stage arms and adjustable pads will pick up just about anything. I have a mower on mine right now...and a 5500 Chevy Kodiak dump that's just a hair under 12k lbs on the same lift at work.

The Kodiak feels just a bit wobbly, but its not going anywhere and only couple hundred lbs from the 12k rating according to the tare weight on the gravel reciept left on seat. It was pricy, but happy I bought it. Now we just need a ceiling, some insulation and heat before winter. That may or may not happen this year, but I really hope to get that far if time allows.
