Rotary SPO9 ?

Guy is selling a used Rotary SPO9. Can't find any info on them other than they are no longer made. (I believe the 9 is now a 10)

In any event, I know a lot of dealerships use Rotary, but what about any folks here?

I use a Rotary SPOA7. I have a PDF of the SPOA9 manual, but I can't post a PDF.

If you contact Rotary, they could send you a manual, or if you PM me your e-mail, I could send you one.

I moved my lift with me. They are easy to set up, but you need a decent anchor hammer drill.

I wouldn't give too much for a used lift. They really aren't that expensive new.

Well, that's just it. I don't know what they go/went for new. Guy is looking for $2300 installed w/90 day warranty. Only thing I know is I can get a BendPak 10K lift for around $2300-2500 and then have to install it.

I also don't know the quality of the Rotary vs the BendPak.

I also need to get the specs from Rotary as I poured my slab with footings to Bendpak measurements.

Is he a professional installer? I bought my 9K Challenger two post for $2100 and paid another $650 to have it taken down, transported 80+ miles and set back up. The guy who did the work said I paid too much, I agreed that it should have been $1800-$1900 but it was a super clean lift, which he admitted it was, so I was happy.

Price the closest thing to it new and that will give you some ideas. $2300 is probably in the ball park for an installed lift (you get to do the wiring, I'm sure he won't want to nor have the electrical license to do that). It all depends on the market and where you are located. There were lots of dealer lifts on the market as they folded and the businesses were closed and emptied, fewer now as this is mostly over with.

SPO9 has been replaced by the SPO10. I cannot tell the difference between the two.

You can contact Rotary and they will give you installation, operation and parts literature. It is still supported by Rotary.

Quality, its about as good as it comes. They are commonly seen in dealerships and have a good reputation.

I have an SPO9 and am very happy with it, the heaviest I lift is our GMC 2500 Duramax.

I was able to get one with very little use for $1700 installed plus electrical, no warranty.

Call them! I bought 2 and needed some help. Took photos of them lying on pallets. 20 minutes later 2 PDF files with everything I needed and more.

I vote for Rotary. That’s what I had in the dealership. And that’s what I got for my new shop.
