Does anyone have a picture of how they wired in the limit switch on the top of their Rotary lift? I was thinking of mounting a box on the top bar then splitting the hot side in there to go to each side of the limit switch.

I'd like to try and do something that looks nice instead of seeing a bunch of wire nuts on top of the lift.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks but I know how to wire it. If you reread my post I am asking for pics of how people went about wiring the limit switch. Mount a box etc.

Joe,
There was a box of sorts mounted on my overhead limit switch. I used BX from that down the inside of the post to a box with a shut off switch that I added, one leg of the the 220 was split in the shutoff box. Here is picture, hope it helps,
Rotary has the installation instructions online if you need them.

Jim, nice looking install and good idea on the shutoff switch. Got a closeup of the power unit and the switch?

Joe, if you don't have a copy of the manual, you can download one from Rotary. The limit switch should be documented there.

I brought the wire from my limit switch down (zip tied to the main power) to the motor control box on the motor, and connected in there. No need for any more boxes. The limit switch mounting box is reasonably large.
