Price Check on Rotary Lift SPOA10

A fella near me is selling a very lightly used SPOA10 lift. He claims it is a 2019 model. I've seen retail on these at about $4300. He is asking $3500 which I won't pay. Assuming it is as advertised, what is a fair price?

In this area, half price is considered good on used. Check to see if the warrantee is transferable.
If you decide to buy the lift, have an experienced installer take the lift down and then install it at your place. this may be the best way for you to discover any problems. I am curious, why is the lift for sale?

So far communication has been via text and seller isn’t very responsive. He did give me address to look at and said already disassembled.

7 years ago I bought a pair of two year old ones with three stage arm option for $4200 for the pair. 12’ ers

I was quoted $1,250 for a used SPOA10 but no warranty and I have to install it myself.
