I've used them, but it was a differant brand. Awesome for those tight spots you can't get any throw. One of things where it's not used much but irreplaceable when needed.

I've had a Stanley branded one for years, only used a few times. It's decent for timing cover screws, but pales in comparison to a battery ratchet.

These have been around forever. TOPTUL sells one but, as previously stated above, if you've got a FUEL ratchet, or even better yet one of the tiny SPAir impacting ratchets, these are fairly useless. To me this is more of a gimmick than anything else.

I've got the Blackhawk versions, which are identical to Stanley. 1/4 and 3/8. The 3/8 worked really good for changing sparkplugs in old vans. Chevy Astros and Ford Aerostars if I remember right. Especially when they had AIR injection tubes on the manifolds...I'm giving away my age Here! Haha Either way they are handy and you will find uses for them once you have them!

I also have the blackhawk versions. In short, theyre bad at everything else to allow the ratchet to perform the rotator function. They're bulky, have a ton of backdrag, and it's nearly impossible to generate any torque in the twist configuration. I don't remember which of the versions it is, but one of them has a square drive built into the tip of the handle. That would be handy when you want to use it as a 90 degree angle adapter or apply more torque.

That is/was Proxxon. Although somewhere on this board IIRC somebody managed to get the end cap removed from a Stanley and made his own square drive.

I have a Stanley and use it in confined locations, I love it. Great innovation and when you need it, it works. I am very happy with mine.

While they do have their purpose and are handy as heck I just wish they weren't as bulky as they are. Sometimes the size of the head limits access to the point of finding a different tool to fit easier in my eyes. But trust me I have used mine and was glad to have them!

I can kinda see it in 1/4" and 3/8" - doesn't seem like 1/2" would be all that useful...
