Rotery fine cut files??

Am looking for the fine cut ball files for re-shaping seats on jacks and hyd valves. Any ideas?? 4-6 inch stem is about right Die grinder burrs are WAY too course. THANKS!

What are the seats made of? they used to make (I think they still do) resurfacing seat cutters for faucets and such. Those seats are brass. if you are soft iron you might get by

Another alternative is a ball grinder stone? but what about grinder dust? (or cutter shavings for that matter)

Just looking for good hand file grade metal. don't really need carbide or anything fancy. using slow speed, low pressure. am having trouble with wording so that a google search gets me a low speed file type.

You need Single cut Carbide burrs. Most of what's available from tool trucks and tool supply houses are Double cut. Look for Dental fabricating equipment or a Machine tool supplier and you will find what you are looking for. I purchased mine from a Dental supply company in Lexington, KY. Unfortunately, I do not recall the name of the supplier.

No luck yet. MSC had no luck. Keep hoping HIBALL will know!I am sure he has them.

In my shop, we used regular drill bits that we would reshape on a grinder.
What specific jack is giving you problems? Or are these for general purpose?
