Roth oil tank

I have a 275 gallon Roth oil tank. The fuel gauge seems to be canted to the left. Then I noticed a bow in the top, not much but enough to make the gauge look canted left. Since this in the outer tank I can't come up with any reason for it. The fill pipe and vent pipe appear clear.
Anybody experience this phenom?
Frank

Welcome to GJ. Lots of great members here who might be able to help you out . .. IF . . . given enough pertinent information. You talking about home heating oil ??

However, you don't list any location at all . . . this in USA, or Canada or Russia??

Now would be good time to Update your GJ Profile with City / State.

Pictures also tell a thousand words. Show us the problem.

And here's a level. It's hard to see the space on the middle. I have a light behind it.

I guess im curious as to what the problem is? Does it not read correctly or is the sag just bothering you?

Im guessing the tank top is think steel, the weight of the hose is causing the sag.

i don't have any info on tank construction so i can't say. The tank is about 11 years old and I don't know when the sag started. I'm going to dig up some drawings to see if what you suggest is a possibility.
Thanks for your input
