Roto ratchet disassembly

Does anyone know if its possible to take a roto ratchet head apart?

Its the kind with no screw on the back of the head, just a quick release.

I'm not familiar with that one, but the SK's and Snap-ons have a snap ring. The Snap-on style is a flat ring you can pry out with a pick or small screwdriver. I believe the Sk roto ratchets are about the same. The ring should be on the drive side, not the selector side.

someone tried a while back and was unsuccessful. i belive the silver button in the middle is a rivet. similar titan and other hf ratchets are held with a scew rather than that rivet. the guts on them are like an sk or facom 72 tooth. an obvious copy. i assume this ratchet has the same guts just riveted

Based on what I've seen at HF, I believe the ratchets with the newer handle like in the picture above cannot be taken apart. The previous version had a more rounded handle and at least on the one I have, there is a snap ring that will allow it to be disassembled.

I have only gotten the ratchet head out of the body; to submerge in ATF.

I'd like to destroy one to see how this little chinese finger trap is held together.
