This is the first time I've entered from this site but on other sites, it's actually rather rare to get spam. Mostly they just try to get you on their newsletter. That being said, I have an email that I use to enter contests or sign up for websites.

I would suggest, if you're really worried about it, to make a new email address and add it to your phone and set it to only update when you open that mailbox.
