Rough garage floor coating?

My garage isn't a smooth type like many have not...it's not like cobblestone or asphalt, it's more like 60-80 grit sandpaper. I want to coat it with something light (its stained black/dark gray...I was hoping it was just dirty, but it's the color of the concrete).

Anyone have before / after pictures in a situation like this?

PPG has a floor system that would probably outlast the building itself. The concrete has to be clean and free of any sealer. There are products to accomplish this too.
PPG has an epoxy that can be used as a skim coat on mildly spalled areas. Once it has cured, it can be topcoated with a polyamide epoxy. Like I said, done properly, it should outlast the building.

I cleaned several times with this:
1/4 cup low-sudsing, all-purpose cleaner
1 cup ammonia
1/2 gallon cool water

My .02- We grind all floors and leave a 25 grit finish. Any high solids coating should do a great job in leaving a smooth finish.
