roughneck 5" vice ??? anyone know anything about them?

looked at one at a swap meet for 80 bucks mounted on what used to be a lamp stand, possibly an old oil street lamp pole.

here is an only image of one i found on the net. looks pretty decent.

what say ye?

Amongst all the fine British made vice's I own there's also a version of that Roughneck, mine has a sticker on it that says its a Clarke but they will both be made in the same factory in China.
I'm sure they aren't particularly strong but its just on the top of my rollcab anyway. It does haver the handy feature of being able to hold things at various angles but I wouldn't want to crank down hard on it, nor give it much hammer in any way.
I've heard them described on here as being cast like one of those chocolate Easter bunnys kids get, look solid but are in fact hollow and thin.

Given the money I spent on it again I wouldn't buy it but I have it now and till it breaks its useful.

The proper versions in the UK are made by a company called Swindons but they aren't by any means cheap.

Eventually I'll get one of the Swindons as they come up secondhand on Ebay every once in a while.
