with a back storage wing that is security sure. For collector car storage and restoration area to either the rear of this envisioned front elevation.

On My Classic Car on SpeedTV.....there is the animation graphic with the two globe topped pumpers. To the side door is the garage which they put the Eastman logo. The old filling station front I like.

Does anyone know of any old filling station front elevation built
collector car garages ?

Could You post photos ?

Recently I was traveling from the Joliet Illinois NHRA event and did some
casual driving on the original Route 66 MotherRoad. As I came south to
ODell Illinois there is a museum quality preservation of an nostalgia
" Standard " filling station. They have an audio push button box which provides a 10 minute or so ...presentation about the history of nostalgia filling stations and how they went to great efforts to preserve this one in it's period correct originality. It even has the whiter shingles on the black roof that
says " Standard ". I also saw a Route 66 Texaco filling station

Go to: http://www.digitalroute66.com/gas_service.html to see a slide show of Route 66 service stations with nostalgia signages including the O Dell Illinois Standard station that I referenced above.

By the way....I am a new member and this is my first thread post. :bounce:

funny you bring this up. i'm in the middle of painting my old 18'x18' garage like an old standard station. i'm using the color scheme from the odel standard. i have a contractor that should be starting on my new 30'x30' any day that will be attached to the back of the old one. i too would love to see pics if anyone has them. i also need a "standard" sign about 48" if anyone has one.

Funny, but I live in Pontiac IL about 10 miles from the Odell Station. We featured it in our company calendar last year.

There's a nice Texaco station inside the Henry Ford Museum. Here's a link to some photos.

Really enjoyed the inside Henry Ford Museum photos...thanks
Planning on going to www.woodwarddreamcruise.com next month and with
Walter P Chrysler Museum and all the eye candy available.....It's going to be
a blast ! They are saying Largest Single Day Car Event in the World with
250,000 gathering ! Unbelievable ! Anyway I was crusing on My Vintage
Bike the other day and in Waverly Illinois there is a garage that has done
a Shell front with a multi bay plus a short term storage facility....
