Routing mini split line-set

Im planning on installing a dual zone mini split system and would like to know the best way route for the the line set for the second zone which is on the opposite side of the house. Here are my thoughts for routing the line set:
1. From the condenser, through the attic, secure along the attic rafters then out the opposite side of the house and then return the line set back into the house to the air handler.
2. From the condenser, into the basement, secure line set the the floor joists then out the opposite side of the house and then up the far wall and then back in.

I cannot run the line-set in the far wall because the 2x8 floor joists prevent drilling a hole from both the basement to the first floor and from the first floor to the attic. If the air handler was on the front or the back of the house this would’ve been possible because I could have drill in between the 2x8 but that would look aesthetically pleasing. Any advice would be much appreciated.

First thing I'd check is the maximum line length permitted, then the maximum line lift permitted, then if there is maximum total line length and finally a maximum difference between the two indoor coils line lengths. If you are within those limits I'd probably go low unless the attic route is much shorter.

I ran the linesets for my shop, 3 zone Daikin system, the less bends & choke points the better and easier it will be. As in, less tight holes to pass the lines through or right angle bends.

The hardest section for me was making the transition from an internal vertical line, to the exterior (through the wall) horizontal run to the condenser.

I also was paranoid I had ordered too little lineset length, so I changed my order, and it turns out I had nearly double the amount I needed, but the shorter runs would have been pushing it with the standard 20' coil (I think thats what it was).
