I am subscribed to the daily updates for nearly 20 different threads on here, but if I'm away from email for more than a day or two that really begins to cloud up my inbox. Also, Gmail occassionally considers the messages to be spam, so I have to go dig them out of the quarantine.
Some forums have it set up so that users can subscribe to an RSS feed for each individual thread. Can garagejournal.com be set up this way?? This functionality is usually an optional module in the forum administration, depending on which forum software is being used.
This would allow users (like me!) to subscribe to multiple threads on their RSS reader--I use Google reader, but it could be Yahoo!, or a thick client like Thunderbird or Outlook.
