I need a new rubber tip for my Senco trim nailer. It's the little dinguson the end of the safety push down thing-a-mabob to activate the gun.

Tape is too thin and won't stay on the tip.

Any idea where I can get these things (without paying $20 for shipping...)?

Thx

Mine is discontinued. I am looking to buy some plastic / rubbery material of roughly the right shape, and soften it in hot water to bend it to shape. Haven’t seen it lately, it disintegrated while a friend was using it.

What about dipping it in that liquid tool handle stuff a few times and building it up to the thickness you need? I’m just brainstorming here

Not saying the model number the part is for is like asking HVAC advice without a location/region. LOL

I have an older Senco trim gun(purchased new in 1999 or so). Ran into the same issue, the protector is not available, somehow I found one that would work, trying to retrace my tracks to figure it out, seems like I got the idea here though.
