Rubber feet on compressor

These are some pretty soft ones that were just a random Ebay find. The compressor will actually wobble some when bumped but they really dampen vibration and it hasn't moved at all.

A Forstner bit cuts through the hockey puck like butter making a nice recess for a large bolt and fender washer.

Like KenS said, counterbore into the Puck enough so the head of the bolt and washer are recessed. Just dont cut too fast/too deep, the rubber cuts real easy. make the diameter of the counterbore fit to the washer diameter pretty close. I think I used 3/8 hex head bolts for mine but that is dependant on the hole size in the compressor foot.

just a reminder leave on mounting bolt loose.. the vibritions needs to go somewhere.

I agree. The manual I received with my compressor says ”The tank should be bolted to a concrete floor or on a separate concrete foundation. Vibration isolators should be used between the tank leg and the floor (part number MP3445 available separately). When using isolator pads do not draw the bolts tight. Allow the pads to absorb the vibrations.” I bought mine at Home Depot. When I asked about the isolators they didn't have a clue so I made my own.
