I have been looking at some rubber tiles "Big Foot" that are reasonably priced. They however sit flush to the concrete and do not provide any area for air flow. Has anyone on the forum had experience with such a tile and if so, have you had any issues with mold or mildew?

I have a polished concrete floor however it continues to leach a white powder. I am told this will eventually subside however if I do not mop it every few days it will track into the house. I would appreciate any thoughts you guys might have on this as well!!

Thanks!!

John

seal the concrete or apply an emulsifier to seal the pores of the concrtete.
the white powder is because you are leaching water in from below. I would suspect there is a tear in the vapor barrier
