Thought I would share some pictures of my Ruemelin dental sandblaster. Bought it this past winter and I finally got it up and running. I started out by sanding and repainting the vacuum. When I sandblasted the bottom of the vacuum container, I found it had a lot of rust holes that needed to be patched before I could paint it. I ended up redoing the seal where the hose connects to the vacuum as the original attachment had been lost.
The sandblaster originally had a fixed nozzle inside. To give me more flexibility, I removed it and added a TPTOOLS C-25 gun. I had to replace a lot of the outside air lines as water had gotten into the lines and rusted out some of the black pipe. Since I was re-plumbing it, I added the on/off value as well as the water separator. The last thing I had to do was build a platform for it. I have limited space in my garage and everything has to be mobile.
It is an older unit, but it works great. I got it sealed up pretty well and the vacuum does a great job of keeping the inside clear so i can see what I am doing. I have a larger unit that I use for bigger parts, but I think this unit will work out nicely for doing small items.
