Run capacitor size question

So my current dual run capacitor is 70-10uF +- 10% 370VAC 50/60hZ

Looking online I can get a 70-5uF or 7.5 370VAC

The 10uF's seem harder to come by.

So I guess the general question is...is it OK to use a lower MFD?

Running a little bigger isn't a problem usually,I wouldn't go smaller though.

No. Get the correct size.

You could also get 2 caps and just jumper the common together. As a bonus they will last longer.

Edit: I just googled 70+10 capacitor and had more hits than I could shake a stick at.

Not so cheap, but us made ($45)

The titan pro doesn't show the country of origin on its label, just speculation its imported.
